New Delhi: SpiceJet yesterday reported more than three-fold rise in net profit at Rs 73.19 crore in the March quarter and plans to induct over 100 narrow-body planes in the next few months as the budget carrier seeks to tap growing domestic demand.

Mumbai: Budget carrier SpiceJet on Friday said it will resume flights to Dubai, from Mumbai and Madurai, from July 21. These services, launched in June 2012 and November 2013 respectively, were suspended in May on account of the runway refurbishment at Dubai International Airport, SpiceJet said in a statement here.

Mumbai: Budget carrier SpiceJet on Monday reported a 10 percent fall in its net profit for the first quarter of this fiscal, which stood at Rs 50.55 crore from Rs 62.44 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2012-13. The company's total income registered a 16.20 percent rise at Rs 1,704.30 crore during the quarter under review from Rs 1,466.69 crore reported in the like period of last fiscal, said a regulatory filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Mumbai: Budget passenger carrier SpiceJet on Tuesday reported a net profit of Rs.71.8 crore for the first quarter of the current fiscal. The airline had reported a net loss of Rs 124 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal. "This is the second consecutive profitable quarter and I am proud of what we have achieved.But there is still a long way to go. I am confident that the best is still ahead of us," SpiceJet chairman Ajay Singh said.
