Machilipatnam: A 42-year-old debt-ridden farmer allegedly committed suicide by consuming pesticide at Ramannapeta village in Krishna district yesterday, police said. P Basavaiah killed self at his field. He was distraught over his crop being lost, Sub-Inspector of Police K Durgaprasad of Chandarllpadu Police Station added.
