Jorhat (Assam): Seventy labourers were injured when an over-crowded bus carrying them fell into a ditch on NH-37 here during wee hours on Monday. According to Jorhat district SP Amanjeet Kaur, the bus was carrying 70 passengers from Barpeta to Tinsukia against its capacity of 35 persons.

New Delhi: A board of inquiry probing the accident in submarine INS Sindhuratna has found seven officers culpable and action has been initiated against them, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar told Parliament on Tuesday.
