Raipur: A police jawan was allegedly kidnapped by suspected Maoists in the insurgency-hit Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh, police said today. The assistant constable, identified as Pandu Ram Kudiyam, was abducted from a dense forest under Farsegarh police station area last evening, Bijapur Additional Superintendent of Police Indira Kalyan Elesela told reporters.

New Delhi: The Central government has notified 'Mid Day Meal Rules, 2015' under the National Food Security Act. A statement issued by the HRD Ministry said that the National Food Security Act, 2013 (NFSA, 2013) contains provisions related to welfare schemes including Mid Day Meal Scheme.
