Bhawanipatna: Amid an outcry over a tribal man forced to walk 10 km with his wife's body in Odisha's Kalahandi, district health authorities on Thursday claimed there was no negligence and an ambulance was arranged to take the corpse to their village when the incident came to light.

Bhubaneswar: After a tribal man's 10-km walk with his wife's body on his shoulder drew widespread flak, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday launched "Mahaprayan" scheme to help the bereaved transport the bodies of their kin from hospitals to their residences.
