Hudhud loss in East Godavari district pegged at Rs 268 crore

Rajahmundry (Andhra Pradesh): Cyclone 'Hudhud' has caused loss to the tune of Rs 267.98 crore in East Godavari district, an official said on Saturday. The cyclone, which made a landfall in Visakhapatnam on October 12, damaged standing crops, roads and buildings in the coastal district.

Berhampur (Odisha): Seven colleges in three southern Odisha districts have been damaged in cyclone Hudhud. Four colleges in Koraput district followed by two in Nararangapur and one in Gajapati were affected by the cyclone, officials said.
