New Delhi: Dainik Jagran, world's most read Hindi newspaper, continued to dominate the Indian media industry as the national daily has bagged as many as four Abby Awards, the Oscar of newspaper industry, at the recently concluded Ad Club of Mumbai Festival in Goa. During the festival, Jagran's advertising creativity and its impact on common people were also commended by the advertising world.

New Delhi: Jagran Prakashan Ltd (JPL), the publisher of leading Hindi daily newspaper Dainik Jagran, today reported over three-fold jump in its consolidated net profit at Rs 179.97 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2015, driven by growth in advertisement revenue.

New Delhi: In a recent summit in Bali on tuberculosis, new data reveals that one in four people infected with the infectious disease, might also be suffering from diabetes. The data presented by the Indian initiative Jagran Pehel at the TB and Diabetes Summit in Bali shows that after bi-directional screening of more than 50,000 people for TB and diabetes in 10 districts from the states of Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh found that one in four people infected with TB also tested positive for diabetes.

New Delhi: Jagran Prakashan Limited (JPL), publishers of India’s largest read newspaper, Dainik Jagran, today reported a 17.8 percent increase in its consolidated operating profit for the year ended March 31, 2015 to Rs 450.56 crore as compared to Rs 382.61 crore in Financial Year 2014.

New Delhi: Jagran Prakashan Ltd (JPL), publisher of leading Hindi daily newspaper Dainik Jagran, today reported a 14.56 per cent decline in standalone net profit at Rs 49.69 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2015. It had posted a net profit of Rs 58.16 crore in the January-March period of 2013-14, the company said in a BSE filing.

At least 10 children died in a village in Bihar's Madhubani district due to a disease commonly referred as 'khasra' or measles, an official said on Saturday.
