New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and BJP president Amit Shah among other dignitaries graced the occasion of Jagran Forum, an initiative organized by world's largest read newspaper Dainik Jagran at Taj Vivanta in Lucknow. The theme of forum was ‘when state progresses, country will grow’(Badhega Pradesh Toh Banega Desh).

London: Dainik Jagran, one of India’s premier Hindi daily, has received International News Media Association (INMA) Global Media Awards which is being given for excellence in innovative initiatives to grow audience, revenue, and brand in media. The awards ceremony was a mega event which was held at London’s Victoria and Albert Museum on May 23.

A man was arrested for allegedly killing a girl after failing to molest her in Gudumba area, police sources said here. The body of Kshama Yadav (19), who was missing since April 9 evening from her house in Senwa village, was recovered from the fields the next day, they said.

The case was registered against constable Arun Sehgal at the Modinagar police station here on the complaint of a girl, who had accused him of maintaining a physical relationship with her on the pretence of marrying her.
