Jaipur: Intermittent rains on Sunday affected the normal life and highway traffic in Rajasthan as Bikaner recorded the maximum rainfall of 21 mm at 0800 hrs, a MeT report said here.

Chandigarh: Punjab and Haryana have reported 49 deaths due to swine flu so far this year, senior officials said here on Thursday. While 29 people have died in Punjab, Haryana has reported 20 casualties. Punjab's nodal officer Deepak Bhatia said 95 swine flu cases are being treated and 227 suspected cases are under observation in different hospitals across the state.
