In a bid to save historical heritage sites and control pollution by regulating the traffic system, the Punjab and Haryana High Court has directed Haryana and Punjab to develop car free zones in all the districts. To check the air pollution, the HC has also asked them to use eco-friendly rickshaws as means of commutation.
