On the lines of the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Board (DERC), the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) has prepared grounds for privatisation of some of its plants and units. After privatising the water distribution plant in Malaviya Nagar and Vasant Vihar and two other water treatment plants the board has decided to hand over the management of three more water recycling plants to private companies.
