New Delhi: In the backdrop of NDA allies and RSS affiliates joining the Opposition in red-flagging some provisions of the contentious land bill, Government today said it is ready to consider suggestions on "any clause" but insisted that changes were brought in the previous legislation at the demand of a number of Congress-ruled states.

The fishermen, who were apprehended by Pakistan marine security in the last one to three years from Arabian sea in Kutch District, bordering Pakistan, arrived at Vadodara from Amritsar last night and embarked to their respective villages on the same night.

Johannesburg: The emerging market BRICS nations will have their own development bank by the end of year, South Africa said on Friday. "The New Development Bank is expected to be operational by end of 2015," the South African Finance Ministry said in a statement that announced the nomination of South African banker Leslie Maasdorp as vice president of the bank and Parliamentary ratification of two treaties concerning the lender.
