Ahmedabad: Self-styled 'godman' Asaram's son Narayan Sai, jailed in a rape case, was on Monday granted three weeks temporary bail by the Gujarat High Court to attend to his ailing mother. Justice V M Pancholi granted conditional temporary bail to Sai, who will remain under police surveillance during his bail period.

Patna: Twenty five of the 40 Lok Sabha MPs in Bihar failed to spend even a single paisa from their Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) fund in the past one year, an official said on Saturday. "Of the 25 MPs, who did not utilize a single penny from their MPLADS fund in last one year, 16 are from BJP and six from its allies LJP and RLSP, two from RJD and one from JD-U MP," the official informed.
