New Delhi: The Supreme court on Thursday directed Gujarat Police not to arrest social activist Teesta Setalvad and her husband in a case of alleged embezzlement of funds for a museum at Ahmedabad's Gulbarg Society that was devastated in the 2002 riots.

Ahmedabad: Gujarat crime branch officials had planned to arrest social activists Teesta Setalvad and her husband Javed Anand after the High Court rejected their pre-arrest bail plea, but they could not find her until she obtained relief from the Supreme Court, police sources said on Thursday.
