New Delhi: The Supreme Court will on Friday hear Centre's plea challenging Delhi High Court order on Delhi government's Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) and holding that the Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung cannot act in his discretion.

New Delhi: Delhi Assembly on Wednesday passed a resolution rejecting Centre's notification giving more powers to Lieutenant Governor. In a resolution, the Delhi Assembly has declared as "illegal" the notification by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) issued on May 21.
