Washington: United States President Barack Obama said on Monday that Ukraine crisis had reinforced unity of the US and its European allies while he did not rule out possibility of providing lethal weapons to the Ukrainian forces, an act opposed by German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Even as the investigative agencies continue to grope for possible leads into the Mumbai terror attacks on Wednesday, it’s equally ironical that the investigative agencies have failed to make headway into three other terror attacks that rocked different parts of the country after 26/11. Washington: US researchers are looking into the possibility of using nuclear weapons to protect Earth from the threat of incoming asteroids. Scientists at Los Alamos, the US government's atomic weapons research centre in New Mexico, say that the threat of an asteroid impact is far greater than had been realised and research was required to work out the best way to destroy or deflect them.
