New Delhi: Renault's little wonder, the Kwid now has a big heart! The French automaker has launched the 1.0-litre version of the hatchback in the country today at Rs 3,82,776 for the RXT variant and Rs 3,95,776 for the RXT (O) (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi). This makes it Rs 22,000 more expensive than the equivalent Kwid 0.8 SCe!

New Delhi: A Panama-based shipping company and its two Qatar-based sister concerns were on August 23 directed by the National Green Tribunal (NGT) to pay up Rs 100 crore as damages for causing an oil spill when a cargo vessel sank off Mumbai coast in 2011, damaging marine ecology.

Srinagar: At least nine security personnel, including a Deputy Superintendent of Police, were injured on Wednesday in a terrorist attack in Pulwama town, police said. Terrorists hurled a grenade, followed by firing, at security personnel who were on duty near the Degree College in Pulwama town, 32 kms from here, a police official said.
