New Delhi: The Centre has permitted allocation of IAS, IPS and IFoS officers for the newly-formed state of Telangana and residuary Andhra Pradesh. As per the guidelines finalised by the Department of Personnel and Training, 163 posts of Indian Administrative Service (IAS), 112 of Indian Police Service (IPS) and 65 Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officers (including promotees) have been allotted to Telangana.
