Eleven members of a marriage party were killed on Tuesday and 30 others got injured when a truck in which they were travelling collided head-on with a roadways bus at Gonda district in Uttar Pradesh, the police said.

A 40-year old Delhi Traffic Police constable was killed by a speeding truck on Tuesday, the police said. The errant truck driver has been arrested.

At least six persons, including four women, were killed as the car in which they were travelling collided with a truck near Shambhala village on Khatima-Panipat highway, about 30 km from Muzaffarnagar in Uttar Pradesh.
