Chouhan says no casualties or damage due to tremors in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Saturday said there were no reports of casualties or damage to property in the state due to the earthquake which hit several parts of the country and Nepal, but asked officials to be on alert to deal with possible aftershocks.

Shimla: Several parts of Himachal Pradesh experienced mild tremors on Saturday but no loss of life or property was reported in the state. The tremors were felt at around 11.42 AM and lasted a few seconds, forcing people to rush out in the open.
