New Delhi: Lok Sabha on Wednesday passed the Coal Mines bill to allow e-auction of coal blocks after the Supreme Court cancelled their allocation leading to uncertainty in the coal sector, amid opposition by Left and some other parties.

New Delhi: The European Union (EU) has lifted the ban on import of Indian mangoes that it had imposed in April last year. "The EU has notified lifting of the ban on mango through a commission implementing number  February 12, 2015," Commerce and Industry Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said in a written reply to the Rajya Sabha.

New Delhi: A Bill seeking to pave the way for plying of e-rickshaws on Delhi roads was passed by the Lok Sabha on Tuesday. It is the third ordinance to be replaced by a bill passed by the Lower House since Monday, the others being the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill and the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Amendment Bill.
