New Delhi/Bengaluru:  Bangaloreans woke up on Saturday to a new name of their iconic city – Bengaluru – as the state government issued a special gazette notification to officially change the name of Karnataka's capital alongside 11 other cities in the state, to the effect on Friday evening.
