Coimbatore: Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK) on Monday said it is the responsibility of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to prevent Karnataka from constructing a dam across the Cauvery at Mekeddatu, which would adversely affect the interests of Tamil Nadu farmers.
