Stone-pelting incidents: Youth killed in firing, curfew imposed

Srinagar : A youth was on Wednesday killed and two persons were injured when security forces allegedly opened fire to chase away stone-pelting protesters here, after which curfew was imposed in parts of the city.

Vadodara: 113 Indian fishermen, who were released from Pakistan jails on June 19, have arrived here. The fishermen, who were apprehended by Pakistan marine security in the last one to three years from Arabian sea in Kutch District, bordering Pakistan, arrived at Vadodara from Amritsar last night and embarked to their respective villages on the same night.

As the major stakeholders –the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Congress have announced the names of candidates to be fielded in Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections, the resentment among the party workers have further widened over denial of tickets to their kin. Owing to rising discord both the parties made last minute changes. The Congress changed 15 names on last day so did the BJP.
