Cow Should Be Treated As Mother By All Indians: Raghubar Das

Kolkata: Amid the raging controversy over cow vigilantism, Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Saturday said those who consider India as their country should treat cow as their mother. Das, however, stressed that there should be no violence in the garb of cow vigilantism and said cattle smugglers may be involved in the recent events of violence over cow protection.

Ranchi: Jharkhand on Wednesday became the third state to ratify the Goods and Services Tax Amendment Bill in a special session of the Legislative Assembly. Thanking all the MLAs of the House for rising above party lines to ratify the bill, Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that the unanimity demonstrated by the legislators on initiating one country, one tax was exemplary.
