Jamshedpur (Jharkhand): Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) will merge with the Bharatiya Janata Party on August 20 at Ranchi, former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda said on Monday.

A dawn-to-dusk Jharkhand Bandh call has been given by the Jharkhand Disom Party (JDP) on July 25 to mount pressure on the state government to return the land acquired by it to set up professional educational institutions like IIT, IIM at Nagari in Ranchi, where villagers clashed with the police on July 4 last.
