Kasturba Vidyalayas fail to attract girl students in Uttar Pradesh

The UP government’s ambitious project to promote girl child education in the state by opening Kasturba Gandhi Awasiya Balika Vidyalayas (KGBV) seems to have lost its sheen. Apparently, 18 such schools spread in different divisions of the state have failed to attract even the expected number of students.
