Kuala Lamour/Paris: Malaysia said on Sunday that airplane debris that washed up on the Indian Ocean island of Reunion has been identified as being from a Boeing 777, the same model as a Malaysian Airlines plane which vanished last year.

Chennai: The ongoing search operations for the missing Indian aircraft indicate the coast guard personnel might still be trapped inside the plane, an official said. Inspector General of the Indian Coast Guard, SP Sharma said search teams from the navy, coast guard and the police were continuing their search for the 'Dornier' aircraft which went missing on June 08 off the coast of Chennai in Tamil Nadu.
