New Delhi: In a first such cross-border operation, special forces of the Army yesterday carried out a surgical strike inside Myanmar and killed about 20 Northeast insurgents in two militant camps. According to highly placed sources, the operation was guided by 'specific and precise' intelligence input. It has also signalled a paradigm shift in India's strategy when it comes to dealing with terrorism, insurgency and extremism.
