Dehradun: The ruling Congress on Friday recorded clean sweep and bagged all three seats that went for by-poll. CM Harish Rawat retain Dharchula seat while two other candidates from party snatched Doiwala and Someshwar seats from the BJP.

Dehradun: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat on Friday won the by-poll for Dharchula Assembly seat, Election Commission said. The Chief Minister defeated his nearest rival and Bharatiya Janata Party candidate BD Joshi by a margin of 20,000 votes.
