Molestation case: St Stephen's Professor's arrest stayed till 17th August

New Delhi: The Delhi High Court today stayed the arrest of St Stephen's College Professor Satish Kumar, an accused of molesting a PhD student, till August 17. Justice Indermeet Kaur also issued notice to Delhi Police on Kumar's plea directing it to file a status report with regard to the progress made in the investigation of the case before next date of hearing.

Mumbai: The Bombay High Court today allowed Nestle India to export Maggi noodles after Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) said it had no objection to the company selling the product abroad though it stood by its decision to ban nine variants of the food snack in the country for being hazardous to public health.

Jaipur: Actress-turned-politician Hema Malini's driver was today arrested on charges of causing death by negligence after her Mercedes collided with another car, killing a four-year-old girl and injuring the BJP MP along with four others last night. The 66-year-old actress underwent a surgery for her wounds at Fortis hospital here and is doing fine.
