New Delhi: The Delhi High Court on Tuesday dismissed a PIL opposing the practice of forging post-poll alliances by political parties to gain power on the ground that electors were being kept in the dark about it at the time of casting their votes. New Delhi: The Supreme Court asked the Jammu and Kashmir government to consider giving ex-gratia payment for people affected by the floods and to immediately take up the issue of restoring banking facilities in the affected areas. The bench of Chief Justice RM Lodha, Justice Kurian Joseph and Justice Rohinton Fali Nariman said that coupled with the rescue and relief operation, focus should be on the rehabilitation of people.
