Keshav Dev Singh, the father of the slain IPS officer Narendra Kumar, has alleged the involvement of the mining mafia as well as the government in his son’s death. He made it clear that he had no trust in the judicial inquiry and the case must be investigated by the CBI. Narendra Kumar was deployed at Banmore of Morena district in Madhy Pradesh. He was recently mowed down by a tractor at a mining site.

Observing the difficulties faced by students in pursuing their higher studies, the Jammu & Kashmir government, Ministry of Home Affairs and Jamia Millia Islamia University, Delhi on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) under which 400 students from the state pursuing higher education would be provided accommodation in the University.
