New Delhi: Subhasini Mistry, a resident of Hanspukur, 24 Parganas(South), West Bengal lost her husband due to medical negligence in the year 1971. Left alone and without any proper source of income to support the children, she had to work as a housemaid, a manual labourer and a vegetable seller for 20 years and managed to save Rs 1 lakh. Then, with the help of community workers and neighbours, she was able to make a doctor of her son, Ajoy.
