The Narmada Bachao Andolan (NBA) has refused to accept the state government’s claim that it would save five villages affected from the Omkareshwar Project from submergence by building an embankment. Challenging the government’s claim, the NBA said, if the claim holds any credibility, the Chief Minister must show the courage to reside in any of these villages during the rainy season.
