A mild earthquake shook parts of Uttarakhand early on Wednesday. A slight intensity quake measuring 3.2 on the Richter Scale hit areas located along Uttarakhand-Nepal border in Pithoragarh district at around 10 am, MeT office Director Anand Sharma told reporters.

Dehradun: At least 14 bodies have been recovered so far from the debris in villages which were buried in a cloud burst in Uttarakhand, police said today. As many as 39 people were feared dead yesterday in the incident that occurred in six villages of Chamoli and Pithoragarh districts, the police said.
