Oil regulator to submit gas premium formula by month end

New Delhi: Upstream oil regulator Directorate General of Hydrocarbons (DGH) will by the end of the month submit a formula to determine the premium over and above the recently hiked price to be paid for natural gas produced from difficult fields.

Shillong: The toll due to the massive floods in Meghalaya has risen to 39, an official said on Thursday. Health authorities in the flood-ravaged Garo Hills region of Meghalaya said if precautions are not taken, diseases like diarrhoea, cholera and gastroenteritis may break out once the floodwaters recede.
