Ranchi: The death of 13 pilgrims in Jharkhand today has pushed the number of pilgrims killed in the state in the last five days to 30. At least 13 pilgrims who were on their way to their home in Bihar's Siwan district after offering prayers at Puri Jagannath Temple in Odisha were killed when a truck rammed into their van.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today expressed grief at the loss of lives in the temple stampede at Jharkhand's Deoghar district. Modi spoke to Chief Minister Raghubar Das about the incident which occurred in the temple town at around 4 AM leaving 11 people dead and over 30 injured.
