Former Karnataka minister Gali Janardhan Reddy and Managing Director of Obulapuram Mining Company B V Srinivas Reddy, both of whom were arrested in connection with alleged illegegal mining, on Tuesday moved their bail petitions in the special CBI court here. The petitions are likely to come up for hearing on Wednesday, court sources said.

A CBI court on Friday granted bail to former Karnataka minister Gali Janardhana Reddy in an illegal mining case in Andhra Pradesh. Janardhan Reddy, however, will not be released immediately as he is currently lodged in a Bangalore jail, facing a similar case in Karnataka.
