The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), the largest open schooling system in the world and an autonomous institution under MHRD, GOI will conduct the practical examinations of its October- November 2012 cycle before the theory examinations, for the convenience of its learners. This is a deviation from the past practice of conducting practical examinations only after the theory examinations.
