A plea for lodging a criminal case against self-proclaimed godman Nirmal Baba for allegedly cheating people and breaching public trust was on Monday dismissed by a Delhi court.

A court in Madhya Pradesh on Monday rejected the anticipatory bail plea of self-proclaimed godman Nirmal Baba and directed him to appear before it on June 25.

Controversial Godman, Nirmaljeet Singh, alias Nirmal Baba is facing imminent arrest following his non-appearance in a court. He however, is yet to be traced.

A local court on Tuesday reserved an order on the anticipatory bail plea filed by self proclaimed godman Nirmal Baba in connection with a case of fraud and forgery.

In a fresh disclosure Amrit Lal, resident of Jalandhar sent a legal notice against godman Nirmaljeet Singh Nerula alias Nirmal Baba accusing  him of cheating and fraud. The petitioners alleged that a fee of Rs 2000 was charged from him for attending the darbar but he was not allowed to do so.

The Patna High Court on Wednesday stayed the operation of the non-bailable arrest warrant issued by a Araria court against self-proclaimed godman Nirmal Baba.

The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court on Tuesday sought the Centre's response by July 16 on a plea seeking for directions to stop the transmission of Nirmal Baba's discourse on various TV channels.

Madhya Pradesh High Court on Friday stayed the serving of a warrant against Nirmaljit Singh Narula alias Nirmal Baba as directed by a lower court.
