Mortar bombs found near rail tracks in Haryana

Kurukshetra (Haryana): Mortar bombs were found lying close to the railway tracks near Shahbad railway station in Haryana's Kurukshetra district yesterday, following which rail traffic was briefly suspended on the route and a massive search operation was launched by the security forces.

Haryana’s Women and Child Development Minister Geeta Bhukkal on Tuesday said that it is mandatory for the organisations engaged in the welfare of needy and deprived children. The minister said that whether it be a government or a voluntary organisation, they must get registered under the Juvenile Justice Act, 2000 and the Orphanages and Other Charitable Homes Act, 1960.
