RS amendments to Aadhaar Bill had lacunae: Arun Jaitley

New Delhi: Justifying Lok Sabha's rejecting the amendments made by the Upper house to the Aadhaar Bill, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley yesterday said adoption of changes would have pushed the legislation, aimed at streamlining the payment of benefits, into realms of unconstitutionality.

New Delhi: Khekiho Zhimomi, a Rajya Sabha Member of Nagaland People's Front, died at AIIMS this morning following a stroke. The 69-year-old leader was admitted to the hospital here three days ago. He was shifted to ICU last evening and was declared dead at 6.20 AM today.
