Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD chief Lalu Prasad are actively wooing supporters to make their August 30 campaign rally here a success. The event will be their first big show of unity a year after the two leaders joined hands in a bid to defeat the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the state.

New Delhi: The Congress today dismissed speculation that Rahul Gandhi will not share dais with RJD chief Lalu Prasad in poll-bound Bihar. "These sort of doubts only you have. The meaning of an alliance is to fight unitedly. It is a grand alliance. We will all be together. Congress president has shared (the dais). Question does not arise of the Congress vice president not doing", party spokesman Abhishek Singhvi told reporters.
