Chennai: Swedish luxury car maker Volvo Corporation launched new S60 T6 petrol car priced at around Rs.42 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. The company is hoping to garner a 10 percent market share by 2020 by launching new models, expanding distribution network and focusing on brand-building, said a top official of Volvo Auto India.

Petrol prices hiked by 64 paise; diesel cut by Rs 1.35 per litre

New Delhi: Petrol prices was hiked by 64 paise a litre, but diesel prices was cut by Rs 1.35 per litre in line with trend in global oil rates. This is the third increase in petrol prices since May. However, in case of diesel, the reduction has halted two consecutive increases during last month. The revision in rates will be effective from Monday midnight.
