New Delhi: One of the biggest film festivals of the country hosted by the Indian Government has a new permanent address now. International Film Festival of India will now be hosted by Goa every year.The Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Information and Broadcasting (I&B) Prakash Javadekar on Wednesday formally made the announcement.

Bollywood's first superstar Rajesh Khanna, who was not considered for Padma awards during his lifetime, could get one posthumously. The Information and Broadcasting Ministry is understood to have recommended Khanna's name along with other film personalities for Padma awards under the arts category to the Home Ministry.
