New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is to take over the murder case of Bihar journalist Rajdeo Ranjan and a probe team would soon leave for Siwan, sources said on Wednesday. The CBI would take over the case from Siwan Police which said that Ranjan's killing was part of a premeditated conspiracy.

Kolkata: Metro railway services were halted and an early holiday was declared at the state secretariat as tremors were felt in Kolkata and other parts of West Bengal on Wednesday following a quake in Myanmar. There were no immediate reports of any casualties or loss of property.

Stuck either on roads or in their houses, people are going through many kinds of difficulties and life has come to a standstill in cities like Delhi-NCR and Hyderabad. Interestingly, US Secretary of State John Kerry who is on a visit to Delhi also got stuck in traffic and joked about it to the IIT students during an interaction, asking if they reached the venue in boats.
