New Delhi: After promulgating the Food security bill in national capital,  the government has now decided to increase the production of pulses by another 40 lakh tonne in next two years to make it easily available for the comman man. Currently, India is facing huge scarcity of pulses and it imports atleast 20 lakh tonne pulses every year costing huge amount of foreign currency.
