Ahmedabad: Self-styled 'godman' Asaram's son Narayan Sai, jailed in a rape case, was on Monday granted three weeks temporary bail by the Gujarat High Court to attend to his ailing mother. Justice V M Pancholi granted conditional temporary bail to Sai, who will remain under police surveillance during his bail period.

New Delhi: Government on Wednesday termed as "shocking and tragic" the recent incident at a water sports centre in Kerala where four young female athletes attempted suicide and asserted that urgent action would be taken to prevent such happenings in the future.

New Delhi: Sports Authority of India Director General Injeti Srinivas on Saturday said that he would not completely rule out "foul play" in suicide incident of four female trainees at the SAI Center in Alapuzha but made it clear that it was not the job of his agency or the government to decide on what led them to take the extreme step.
