The new addition is part of efforts to make Rashtrapati Bhavan a cultural hub and reflective of the aspirations of an 'on the move' India, President Pranab Mukherjee said as he inaugurated the ceremonial last evening in the presence of Vice President Hamid Ansari, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan and former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh among others.

Alapuzha (Kerala): Police have recovered a suicide note signed by the four teenaged SAI athletes, who attempted to end their lives, in which they have written that "small mistakes" committed by them had been blown up by seniors of the Water Sports Training Centre at the nearby Punnamada.

Ahmedabad: Self-styled 'godman' Asaram's son Narayan Sai, jailed in a rape case, was on Monday granted three weeks temporary bail by the Gujarat High Court to attend to his ailing mother. Justice V M Pancholi granted conditional temporary bail to Sai, who will remain under police surveillance during his bail period.
