Turning down a bill granting second language-status to 11 languages, the Jharkhand Governor has asked the state government to reconsider the matter. The Governor also raised question over inclusion of Oriya and Bangla for giving second language status.

Ranchi: Jharkhand on Wednesday became the third state to ratify the Goods and Services Tax Amendment Bill in a special session of the Legislative Assembly.
