New Delhi: The Companies Act, 1956 was reborn in the form of the Companies Act, 2013, after a period of 57 years. A number of things have changed but the change of jurisdiction for the cases of corporates under various sections has been transferred to National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) from various judiciary and quasi-judiciary bodies is the major one.
