59-day Amaranth Yatra to begin from 2nd July

Jammu: The Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) headed by Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra on Sunday decided that this year's pilgrimage to the cave shrine would start from July 2 and the duration would be for 59 days.

New Delhi: Renowned Bollywood scriptwriter Salim Khan (79), who has penned down scripts for many superhit films in 70's including  'Sholay' and 'Deewar', refused to accept 'Padma Shri' award conferred to him by the government. The veteran scriptwriter said it is too late for the government to acknowledge his contribution to the Indian film industry.
