New Delhi: Eleven nuclear scientists had unnatural deaths during 2009-13 in the country, latest data provided by Department of Atomic Energy shows. Eight scientists and engineers working in laboratories and research centres of the Department died in a blast or by hanging or drowning in the sea.

New Delhi: The country witnessed a decline of 12 percent in solar power generation at a total 883 MW last year, according to energy consulting firm Mercom Capital Group. Total solar energy installations in 2013 stood at 1,004 MW, it said.
