Srinagar: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Raghuram Rajan is arriving here on Thursday on a two-day visit with a focus on rehabilitation of last year's flood-affected people in the valley. "The focus of the RBI Governor's visit, scheduled to begin on Wednesday, will be rehabilitation of flood-affected businesses and infrastructure in Kashmir," an official spokesman said.

Mumbai: Unidentified parachute-like objects were spotted in the Mumbai airport airspace, raising security concern. According to airport police, five unidentified objects were spotted over the airport area on Saturday evening by a pilot of Jet Airways just before take-off.

Patna: Railway services and vehicle movements were badly hit following the 'chakka jam' agitation by home guards in Bihar, which entered its sixth day on Wednesday. Over 53,000 home guards in the state are on an indefinite strike since May 15 to press for post-service benefits, a hike in daily allowances and retirement age.

Lucknow: An Air India Airbus carrying 169 passengers to Bhubaneshwar from Delhi made emergency land at the airport here on Tuesday after a crack developed in its windshield. According to officers all passengers are safe.
